FIELD GUIDE / QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
STEAM, DEMO & GAME QUESTIONS.
Steam, demo, downloads and the questions around the game—with confirmed facts kept separate from unverified versions and claims.
01 / STEAM, PRICE & DEMO
When did Potato Please release?
The Steam listing records November 3, 2026 as the release date. Older reveal videos and search results may still say “coming soon”; the current store listing takes precedence here.
Where can I buy it and check the price?
Use Potato Please on Steam, and check that the developer is Golden Horn Studios. The checked US listing displayed $9.99 regular price and $8.99 introductory price on November 5, 2026. This is a dated USD snapshot. See the price notes, and use Steam for the current amount in your region.
Is there a Potato Please demo?
No demo download was identified in the official Steam page checked on November 5, 2026. That listing offered the paid full game. This does not prove that a trial, playtest or future demo cannot exist.
Read the demo and free-version notes, then check the current official listing for an actual demo or playtest entry.
Is the full game free, and where should I download it?
The checked US Steam listing showed $9.99 regular price and an introductory offer of $8.99 on November 5, 2026. The full game was a paid release; an official free full-game offer was not verified.
This guide does not host or verify SteamRIP, FitGirl, crack or torrent files. Use the official Steam download route, or check the bounded demo status if you want to try the game first. Region and current-offer differences still apply.
02 / NAME & PLATFORMS
Is it Potato Please, Potatoes Please or Potato Pleasers?
The verified game is Potato Please, developed and published by Golden Horn Studios, Steam app 5266240. If you searched “Potatoes Please” or “potatoe please game”, use the studio and app ID to check that you found this release.
“Potato Pleasers” and “Potato Pleaser” have not been verified as official aliases. Similar spellings can point to unrelated products. See the official release details.
Is Potato Please multiplayer or playable online?
The official Steam listing identifies Potato Please as a single-player game. We have not verified a browser-playable version, online co-op or multiplayer mode.
The game covered here is the Golden Horn Studios Steam release; this website is a guide and does not run the game.
Is there an official Android app or APK?
We have verified the Windows PC release on Steam. We have not verified an official Android, iOS or APK release from Golden Horn Studios. That does not establish that another platform can never exist.
Check the official store and its developer links for a release announcement. This guide does not provide third-party APK downloads.
Is this the same as a Roblox game with a similar name?
This guide covers Potato Please by Golden Horn Studios, Steam app 5266240. A similarly named Roblox experience or mobile app has not been verified as the same release. The name alone is not enough to establish that connection.
03 / CONCEPT, REDDIT & CLAIMS
Does it stay a manual peeling game?
The game concept starts with first-person, physics-based peeling for a fictional army. The developer describes a progression from peeling by hand to bulk collection, machine processing and automation. Exact upgrade costs, unlock conditions and a best purchase order have not been verified here. Read the game-concept overview for the broader premise.
Read the progression overview for the confirmed direction of the operation.
Where can I find Potato Please on Reddit or Steam?
The official store links to Steam discussions for app 5266240. Searches also surfaced threads in r/Games and r/IndieGaming. Reddit blocked the thread bodies during our check, so we do not quote or verify their comments.
Use the community directory for the specific discussion links and the distinction between community posts and developer support.
Why do people call Potato Please a copy or clone?
On September 21, 2026, Rado Klasa alleged that his concept had been cloned. The Potato Please account denied the allegation and said its idea arose independently from a potato meme. A September 22 report connected the dispute to Klasa’s 1,000,000 Potatoes.
Those are attributed statements, not a finding that copying occurred. Read the dated claim and response summary; this guide has not audited either project’s files.
Where do skills, stamina and automatic rotation fit in?
The creator captions describe spending rank-up points in the journal, separately from terminal purchases. Discussed options affect peeling stamina, potato rotation and steadier handling. Automatic rotation still belongs to hand peeling; it is not a processing machine.
See the journal and skill notes with timestamped sources. Exact level values and a best build are not established here.
What do buckets, sacks and wheelbarrows change?
They concern moving potatoes, rather than improving the blade itself. The captioned runs discuss filling and emptying a bucket before later bulk-carrying options. Compare your current transport and processing needs before assuming a larger container solves both.
Use the tools and carrying guide for the supporting checkpoints. Recorded prices and capacities are not treated as fixed values for every build.
Is the crank peeler the same as an automatic peeler?
The inspected runs discuss a hand-cranked machine as an intermediate processing step, then later automatic peeling equipment. Having a machine does not by itself automate collecting and loading potatoes.
See the processing comparison and its creator-caption references. The guide does not promise a fastest unlock order.
Does the puppy's peeling count toward machine objectives?
The developer's November 3 hotfix 1.0.1 notes say potatoes peeled by the puppy no longer count as machine output for quests. Keep that separate from the output of your processing equipment.
Source: official Steam community hub, checked November 5. Read the spoiler-light workbench context for more about the puppy and letters.
04 / CONTROLS & FEATURES
Can I play with a controller?
Steam lists full controller support, including Xbox controllers through Steam Input. Individual button bindings are not documented in the sources used here; check the instructions and settings in your copy of the game.
Is it verified for Steam Deck?
At our November 5, 2026 check, the Steam store marked Steam Deck compatibility as unknown. This guide has not tested the game on Deck, so it does not promise performance or compatibility.
Which languages are supported?
The current Steam listing shows 19 supported languages, including English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese interfaces and subtitles. View the full language table on Steam for the language you need. The listing does not mark full audio for these entries.
What saving and accessibility features are listed?
Steam lists Steam Cloud and achievements, plus save-anytime, camera comfort, custom volume controls, stereo sound, no quick-time events and play-at-your-own-pace accessibility features. These are store declarations; this guide has not independently tested each implementation.
What should I check if I or my equipment get stuck?
The 1.0.1 hotfix points players from the pause menu to Troubleshooting, which has Unstuck, Wheelbarrow and Sack recovery options. The patch lists a 60-second cooldown for those fixes and Repile. Compare your installed version with the notes.
The launch-patch troubleshooting notes also cover changed input behavior, hand-shake settings and the developer's warning for failed game-data loading.
